About the Madness. . .

Multiversity Madness is a weblog project serving and exploring the student left at the University of Maryland, College Park from the perspective of one of its students. These pages hold my stories and experiences of the movements for social justice.

The multiversity is different way of conceiving the university. Institutions of high learning have been called universities, but the expansion of corporate influence, the role of the security state in university affairs and the farming out of billions of research dollars has delegitimized that etymology; turning the university, from a place of higher learning into a corporation producing the next manager class and developing technology for the military-industrial complex.

About Me. . .

I am a student, an organizer, and an activist at the University of Maryland, College Park. I am a Student for a Democratic Society and a member of Engineers Without Borders. We are fighting for collective liberation. In College Park, College Park Students for a Democratic Society is fighting for a socially responsible democratically run campus that is a space for political education and action.
